"Selenite studios are wonderful. Their classes are the most positive, empowering, and beautiful experiences to have and share. The instructors are so knowledgable, but also kind and supportive. I can't recommend joining this community enough."
- Aubrey
"What all the reviews say is true! Selenite is an amazing place. Taking classes there makes you feel amazing physically, mentally, and emotionally. The instructors are kind, welcoming, and are excellent teachers. I cannot recommend this studio enough - it has absolutely changed my life for the better ????"
- Alanna
"Selenite is a lovely studio full of wonderful people. Classes are intimate so it’s easy to get to know classmates and the teacher. I particularly love classes with Brenna- they are unique and unlike any other class offered in Denver. I love the queer centered spaces they create as well as their flow classes.
This studio is also great for hosting a small party/private class. We had our work holiday party here and everyone was so excited to try pole and had such a fun time."
- Michelle
"Selenite Studio is amazing, this is my happy place! I’ve been taking classes since November of 2022 and I love it! The instructors are incredible and there is an excellent variety of classes. This studio makes me feel beautiful and strong mentally and physically."
- Katie
"I love this studio! Not only do they teach so many different types of classes, the teachers lift you up, encourage you, make you feel like a completely new person! I go here weekly and wish I could go every day. If you'e looking for a sign to take a class here, this is it!"
- Kelly
"Selenite is amazing! I am so happy that a pole studio open on this side of Denver. The owner Nico is super sweet, skillful and easy to work with! I also love Christie's classes as well. It's a smaller studio compares to others, but it's much more intimate and less intimidating. They have bottle water and yoga mat for students to use. The studio is very clean and organized. Highly recommend to anyone who's looking to learn this type of dance!"
- Zyle
"This studio has brought nothing but joy, confidence, and empowerment into my life. I've never experienced such a supportive community - instructors and students alike. I had been really getting down on myself in intro classes because there was a move I was struggling with. When I finally was able to get it, Nico got so excited for me. She encouraged me to be proud of my accomplishments. I struggle to celebrate myself and this was exactly the reminder I needed. The care Nico shows to each, and every student is evident. To anyone that is hesitant to try pole - I cannot recommend it and this studio enough. Not to mention it is a fantastic workout! Such joyful movement."

"This studio has been life changing. I have absolutely no dance background but wanted to try something new and a bit out of my comfort zone. Within the first 15 minutes I was hooked. My first class was with Nico, everything was broken down step by step, adding on a little at a time to put together a short dance routine. Every class I have taken is easy to follow and a fun environment. I have tried Intro to Pole, Level 1 Pole, Aerial Silks, Flexibility Conditioning and even a Burlesque workshop. They have a variety of classes and times while adding on new things each month. All the instructors have a passion for what they do and they pass that energy on to you. If you want a boost in confidence and a challenging workout, this is your place."
- Ronda
"I absolutely LOVE the community at Selenite. I first tried a class off ClassPass back in September 2022 with instructor Whitney and fell in love with it. The instructors and classmates are all so positive and uplifting. I kept coming back for 1-2 pole classes per week + choreo classes. I never would have imagined myself as a dancer but after continuing classes I have never felt more challenged and empowered. I even participated in their spring showcase (SO FUN) - something else that was completely out of my comfort zone but I’m so happy I did. They even did a free mini boudoir shoot for students, which was so fun and the pics came out great Selenite is the place I most look forward to coming every week. It’s my happy place!"
- Jenna
"I started pole around 3 months ago and love it! I've tried a few other studios, but Selenite is BY FAR my favorite! All of the instructors are incredible and make you feel super comfortable at whatever skill or strength level you're at. The classes stay under 10 people, and the instructors are great at giving one-on-one help even in a group setting. You can tell Selenite really aims to be a community for everyone, and everyone I've met has been super welcoming, nice, and supportive."
- Alena
"Love this studio. I was introduced to this studio since October and have loved it and keep coming back. All the instructors are amazing and fun, allowing a safe place to be ourselves and inclusive to all. Highly recommend this studio for all their wide range of classes from pole to silks to flexibility and fitness classes, there is something here for you!"
- Sam
"Selenite Studio changed my life!! Every single instructor and staff member here is personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about each and every student. I’ve always felt welcome and encouraged and going to class here feels like hanging out with friends while working out. This studio is also an inclusive environment that feels safe. Huge thanks to Nico, Christie, and Sylvia for not only getting me into pole but making me feel strong and empowered along the way/"

"I never post reviews but Selenite deserves one!
As a retired Irish dancer it has been very hard replacing the hole it left. I've tried dozes of other dance styles and studios, and I was close to giving up. On a whim I decided to dip a toe into pole thinking it would be a confidence boost....so I did a Google search and found Selenite. I HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER!
The whole studio is so inclusive, positive, and has been a very safe space for me to find myself as both a dancer and a person. Every person, students and teachers alike, is friendly and I'm always met with smiles even if I don't know them. I'm amazed the diversity of people, body shapes. I have found my new home and dance family here at Selenite.
If you've been wanting to try something new, but are hesitant like I was, give Selenite a try! I usually dance with Christie for all of my aerial classes and flexibility, and I frequent pole classes with Nico (who is also the mastermind behind this oasis!)."

"5 star studio! Nothing but praise for all the staff that works here. Everyone goes out of their way to make everyBODY feel welcome and comfortable. From having us share our gender pronouns to offering classes specifically for those in the LGBTQ community and inclusive classes to people with limited mobility. I also love that the studio honors the roots of pole dance which include SW and influence from black and brown dancers. This studio is the real embodiment of a community."
- Juanita
"Selenite Studio is phenomenal!! I've loved the classes I've taken here and have only had positive experiences.
Nico is so sweet! She remembered me after my first class, and is so supportive and genuine. Bren is also incredible. I loved their queer open pole class! I've fallen in love with pole thanks to this studio. Highly inclusive and highly supportive. I can't say enough good things about Selenite. ❤️"

"I have been going to this studio since July 2022. Not only have I found something I love to do and makes me feel better about myself. I found a place where I feel welcomed and have a community of wonderful people who support me. I have taken most of my classes with Whitney. She is absolutely the best. She has supported me since basically day 1. Nico, the owner, is also wonderful and so knowledgeable. While I haven’t taken too many classes with her, the few that I have are memorable and have been beyond beneficial to my growth. There are so many more positive things I can say about Selenite, Nico, and the community in general but I’ll save those for later!"
- Jessica
"Selenite is such a beautiful and empowering place. I initially took a pole class to just check it off my bucket list and didn’t expect to be back because I didn’t think a middle aged mom w no rhythm was really their target lol! But the instructors are so lovely and supportive! I tried things never would have imagined and felt like a badass! What a great studio and space!"
- Michelle
"I can't recommend this studio and ALL of the instructors enough! I love the body positivity, femininity, and inclusivity that is preached in this amazing space. All of the instructors are incredibly kind, graceful, and accepting to all bodies, ages, genders, and people. Such an amazing community and atmosphere. If you are looking for a sign to start pole fitness, this is it!"
- Ashley
"This is my favorite pole studio! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. I never feel like another face in the crowd and lost like I did at other pole studios. I advanced so much more quickly here than I did anywhere else because of the smaller class sizes and personalized attention. Even most of the students have great attitudes which made a big difference. Nico, the owner, really cultivates an inclusive and supportive environment :)"
- Veronica
"I've been going to this studio since December, and I really love it. It's a small studio, extremely LGBT+ friendly, with a really warm, encouraging environment.
To attend a class you'll need to book a reservation on their website which is fairly easy to use. You can book a drop in class, buy passes in bulk, or purchase an unlimited membership. There is never any pressure to buy a membership. You'll need to do it ahead of time- there isn't a front desk- and classes often fill up, especially weekend/evening/pole level 1 classes.
They offer many different types of classes from different instructors including, pole (both a more sexy style and more contemporary dance), lyra, bellydance, chair, heels, burlesque, and more. It feels like they're constantly adding new classes.
Their FAQ on the website is helpful, and all the instructors are kind and learn names quickly if you come semi regularly. I've done one on one classes as well which were an incredible value. Overall, I can't speak highly enough of this studio!"
